Skyco is a startup that designs and manufactures aircraft parts. I am fond of this company as I had an internship there as an engineering student years earlier.
As Skyco was upgrading their website, they required new, professional illustrations for it. The task was to take their existing CAD files and blueprints of products on offer, and turn them into high-end renders. While the blueprints and engineering files offered precise references, in themselves they weren't eye-catching. As a remedy for this, I gave them a more ethereal, futuristic, abstract appearance, that nevertheless featured aeronautical components which a seasoned engineer would be able to recognize.
