The founder of Elytra wanted their project to reflect a list of things:
- The logo had to have wings (the project is named after an item in a video game that allows the player to glide.)
- The art and branding must reflect that the project is heavily related to Hyperliquid, a fully decentralized exchange. This includes the main color being teal and paying homage to it in the form of banner artwork.
- The branding had to look serious and professional.
For the branding, we went for glass-based material design. As such, while versions of the logotype are available in single color vector, the full renderings feature intricate layering.
Using the base branding kit, the whitepaper was formatted and published featuring the new design elements.
